I’m a Gen X old school designer that loves seeing a viewer emotionally experience art and great design. I got my graphic design start on my very first, Apple iMac G3 Blueberry Blue model with 512mb of RAM which packed a punch back then. I learned the customer journey early on and the value of quality graphic design and marketing far before the digital era.
After owning and operating a marketing agency for 15 years I decided it was time to sell the business and get back to my roots of graphic design. My personality is a unique mix. I have a passion for analyzing data, reviewing metrics while also creating colorful, thoughtful design (artwork). Since a young age I’ve always loved fine art. I drew comics as a kid, love painting, vector illustration, poster art, printmaking, and really just anything creative. After college my mission was to mesh the fine art world with advertising.
That’s what I’m focused on today. I aim to use my computer as a tool like a pencil to paper. I love a good process and checklist so I find it’s important to fully understand a brand and audience before formulating a final design.
These days data is everywhere. It’s how we determine if we are moving the needle forward in the advertising world. Reports can become overwhelming and boring. My goal is to make them easy to read, enjoyable and most importantly memorable.
